The HexagonThe Hexagon Summer Youth Project
Monday 26 July - Friday 6 August, Mon-Fri 9.30am-4.30pm Now in it’s 7th fantastic year, The Hexagon Summer Youth Project is a two week course suitable for young people aged between 8 - 18 years old. Taking place between Monday 26th July - Friday 6th August 2010, it is a great way to find out more about the theatre and gives you a chance to perform on The Hexagon stage as the project culminates in a final performance of Fantastic Mr. Fox on Saturday 7th August. All participants receive TWO free tickets to the final performance. The Technical Youth Project again runs alongside, for 14-18 year olds, offering the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a working knowledge of the main elements of technical theatre. This behind-the-scenes project ends with the operating and running of the final performance of Fantastic Mr. Fox. The Technical Project only has a handful of places remaining. The final night is a not-to-be-missed performance of the musical ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’, based on a children’s novel by Roald Dahl. It was adapted for the stage by leading children’s theatre creator David Wood and comes to The Hexagon for the first time on Saturday 7 August as the culmination of this two week course.Not available to book online.
